Right now, Reduxi P1 WiFi connects only to your grid meter. However, by adding the Reduxi Controller, you can also connect and control devices like solar panels, batteries, EV chargers, HVAC, and more. Alternatively, in the future you’ll be able to use our cloud-controller service to connect all these devices without needing extra hardware.

The P1 port on your smart grid meter is usually located on the front or side of the meter and is typically labeled as “P1” or with a symbol indicating data output. It’s a small, rectangular port where you can connect communication cables for data transfer. If you’re unsure, check the meter’s user manual for specific instructions or port location. Please note that the P1 port can have either RJ12 or RJ45 connector, so choose appropriate cable supplied with your Reduxi P1 WiFi.

To access your grid meter, simply locate your meter box and open it. However, in some countries, the box may be locked and only accessible by grid-provider technicians. If that’s the case, you’ll need to contact your grid provider (DSO) to unlock it for you.
